Shaolin Xinyiba Kung Fu School (Shaolin Traditional Wushu Institute)
- Kung Fu
- Qigong
Master Hu Zhengsheng's live-in Shaolin school in a village between Dengfeng and the Shaolin Temple, teaching Southern Courtyard Shaolin boxing and Xinyiba to a small group of foreign students alongside its Chinese students, with training six days a week.
- The style
- Southern Courtyard Shaolin Temple boxing and Xinyiba, with the stress on gongfa, skill-building methods, over forms: footwork, body method, stance work and qigong. Students also spar with padded spears and swords, and afternoons often go to weapons and partner work.
- Lineage
- Xinyiba goes back to Ji Longfeng in the late Ming dynasty, who developed Xinyi kung fu. Hu Zhengsheng's teachers were the Shaolin monk Zhang Guangjun and the Xinyiba master Yang Guiwu. He founded the Shaolin Xinyiba Research Society in 2012, his master's last wish.
- The teacher
- Foreign students, usually 5 to 10 of them, train under Yang Xinhui, Hu's eldest disciple, who teaches in English.
