An Uechi-ryu karate dojo in Yomitan, Okinawa, opened in 2023 as a branch of the Uechi-ryu Karate-do Kenyukai and taught by Yoichiro Kuniyoshi and his family. Besides its weekly classes it runs hour-long karate lessons for tourists, which can be paired with a guided tour of Yomitan's scenic spots.
